A letter from the CEO
My name is Tyesha Corbett, I am the founder and CEO of Leo’s Hair Boutique. I grew up watching hairstylists in my family run their businesses from home, I noticed all of the hair products that our community was buying – we weren’t selling.
My Hair journey began with the idea that if people of color including myself are spending billions of dollars on beauty products, we should also have ownership in the businesses that sell those products. Furthermore, those products should be of the highest quality and delivered with amazing customer service.
My vision for this company started in 2017 while I was deployed overseas. My goal is to grow into a nationwide movement and service people all over the world.
The path of entrepreneurship is difficult, but there is no better reward – nothing more beautiful, than living life independently and on your own terms. This is what I want for my community, and Leo’s Hair Boutique is my way of supporting that.

About Our Hair:
What is the difference between Virgin and Human hair extensions? We know – it can get pretty confusing. Between remy and non-remy, cuticle alignment, and wondering just how many heads of hair went into one bundle, there can be quite a lot to figure out. In order to make the world of hair extensions a little less daunting, we created this quick Q&A.
Is our hair unprocessed?
Can it be colored?
Can our hair be bleached?
Can our hair be worn for multiple installs?
What Is Virgin Hair?
Virgin hair is human hair that is unprocessed and unaltered. It has not been dyed, permed, bleached, or treated with any chemicals. To achieve different textures, we gently steam processes the hair to create beautiful, bouncy waves and curls in an array of textures.
“Remy” is a mysterious word that’s used often, but never quite explained. “Remy” refers to the alignment of the hair cuticle, or the outermost layer of the hair shaft. It is collected from the donor in a way that keeps the hair’s cuticles aligned and going in the same direction. When the cuticles are intact, the hair stays silky smooth and is less-prone to annoyances like tangling, shedding, and flyaways.
Virgin hair is great for when you’re looking to make an investment in hair that will last for a long period of time, allow you to create custom color looks, and whip your hair back and forth with ease like it’s all yours.
What Is Dyed Virgin Hair? All Of Our Dyed Virgin Hair Is Customized Per The Customer Request.
While it may sound like an oxymoron, our dyed virgin hair is just that: 100% virgin hair in our classic textures colored just for you. We’ve taken the quality of our virgin hair extensions and made them a little more colorful.
We don’t recommend bleaching or coloring this hair. However, if you’re feening for some peroxide, take a look at our blonde extensions or our unprocessed virgin extensions.

Hair Care Guide: Care For Your Hair And You Hair Will Care For You
Leo’s Hair Boutique provides 100% virgin human hair. We highly encourage all of our customers to follow these pre-installation steps before the installation of the hair, and after installation and on a weekly basis. We recommend these steps to ensure the highest quality outcome from your new hair, and to preserve your investment. Our hair is reusable and with proper care and maintenance your hair will last.
STEP 01
Brush out all knots. Gently brush from the bottom up.
STEP 02
Wet the hair with warm water.
STEP 03
We highly recommend co-washing your hair extensions for optimal results with Curly hair.
If you desire you can also shampoo if that is your preference. However, we strongly recommend a using Anti-Frizz Products.
If you are someone that prefers to shampoo, then we recommend using The TRESemme Keratin Line, or Dove Intense Repair Conditioner following your shampoo, Please try to use a Sulfate Free Shampoo. Only one set is necessary. Please view the photos to your right.
All work equally many options are listed in case something is not in your area.
STEP 04
Rinse the shampoo with warm water.
TIP: Warm water helps open the cuticle and prepares the hair for the next step.
STEP 05
Apply a generous amount of conditioner.
Run your fingers through the hair from the top down. Scrunch the ends with conditioner.
TIP: Comb the conditioner through with a wide tooth comb.
STEP 06
Gently pat dry with a towel and then hang dry the hair to naturally air dry.
DO NOT rub the hair to dry it this will damage the hair. For best results, apply a generous amount of leave-in conditioner every week. Our recommended leave in for all hair types is One n’ Only Brazilian Tech Leave-In Treatment
STEP 07
When styling with heating tools please use a silicon based serum.
We recommend Mizani ThermaSmooth Smooth Guard Serum. This can be used on wet or dry hair along with the leave in above. If you are wearing the hair in the natural state or straightening these products will work.
If Mizani is not in your area, you can use CHI Keratin Serum
Morning Care
Style per usual. If wearing curly spray with water conditioner combo in the morning and use a wide tooth comb, or paddle brush with a small amount on ThermaSmooth and go.
Night Care
At night gently brush hair and place in 2 braids or wrap your hair. Tie down with a silk scarf or satin bonnet. If wearing curly you can place in a pineapple and tie down with a silk scarf.
